# Vault

The Vault is a separate balance from your wallet balance. When you transfer funds into your vault, it will not be used for games. This allows players to separate their playing balances and lock funds safely.

You can find the Vault by heading to your Profile > Vault.

You can transfer between your wallet and vault as often as you wish. You can also check the vault transfer history [here](https://www.damble.io/en/profile/transactions?transactions-tab=vault).

The Vault cooldown feature lets you lock your funds for 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During this time, they can’t be accessed or unlocked by anyone, including us; if you prefer full flexibility, you can choose to use the Vault without a cooldown.

Note you will have to reenter your password to transfer out of the vault.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://damble-1.gitbook.io/damble-help-center/signup-login-and-verification/cryptocurrency/vault.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
